From our friends at Code.org:
“Recently the U.S. Department of Education opened the 2019 Education Innovation in Research (EIR) grant program. We were thrilled to see that they will be making K-12 CS, and only K-12 CS, a “competitive” priority within part of the program this year. This means there’s a large potential for funding, but it isn’t guaranteed. It depends on the CS community submitting high-quality applications.
Join this webinar on Friday to understand the requirements of the EIR program and how you can help ensure that federal funding goes towards high-quality computer science proposals in 2019.”
