CCleaner is a great tool for cleaning up your PC. It will find errors and broken settings in your registry and clean them up. The results of using this tool are a faster computer with fewer errors/crashes and a safer browsing experience.
CCleaner has been in use for a very long time, so it is not surprising that it too has fallen victim to hackers. Hackers added malware to the 32-bit versions of CCleaner 5.33.6162 and CCleaner Cloud 1.07.3191. These versions were available for download between Aug. 15 and Sept. 12.
